Senior Electrical Engineer, first employee - Callpod, Inc.
Served as a leading member of the hardware and software design team, responsible for the electrical design, BOM management, as well as all FCC & UL compliance of all the following products:
  • Chargepod: Mobile device charger capable of charging six devices.
  • Chargepod V2: Mobile device charger capable of charging one laptop and seven other devices.  Includes a USB hub, and integrated 120W AC/DC.
  • FuelTank Uno and Duo: Portable mobile device charger with integrated Li+ battery
  • 30W Car Charger for low power products.
  • 120W Car Charger for Chargepod V2.
  • Designed ~50 Adaptors to support the charging of several thousand devices.
  • Three Bluetooth headsets: Dragon, Onyx, and Vetro: Class 1 RF devices with dual microphone beam forming audio capabilities.
  • Drone: Bluetooth dongle for PC or Mac.
  • Phoenix Bluetooth mobile conferencing device: Capable of mixing audio from 5 Bluetooth headsets and one phone.
  • Built and managed Callpod’s and sister company DSG’s IT Infrastructure: Internal and external Windows and Linux servers, as well as all workstations.
  • Worked closely with patent attorneys on patent applications and litigation.
  • Designed the first wireless Phoenix prototype to demo and launch Callpod, Inc. at DemoFall 2005, and participated in investor meetings to secure first round funding.
